BMW 135i, 335i 535i Performance Software offered by IPB-Autosport

Stage 1 GIAC performance software will be released Monday of next week for BMW 135, 335, 535 applications.
• 55 wheel HP and 55 ft lbs of wheel torque gain over stock (dyno plot link). Gains are estimated at 60 HP and 60 ft lbs of torque at the crank.
• OBD2 port flash installation
• Enhanced throttle reaction
• Smooth power transitions
• Removed speed limiter
• Higher rev limiter, 7200 RPMs for manual transmission cars.
• Switching options may be available in the coming months. (NOW AVAILABE July 26th 2010)
• Stock option, stage 2 and valet

BMW GIAC 135i 335i 535i Dyno Sheet

This GIAC software application installation requires an updated GIAC Serial Suite for BMW applications (version 1006) and a proper scan tool.

• Use the GIAC Serial Suite for BMW Applications. Please contact GIAC for the updated Serial Suite.
• Use a proper scan tool for BMW Applications. Installation requires that codes be erased via scan tool in multiple controllers including the engine, fuel pump, stability, instrument cluster, junction box, radio/CAN and transmission controllers. Bavarian Technic (http://www.bavariantechnic.com/) offers an appropriate product for this purpose.
• Use a minimum 25 AMP ( 40 AMP recommended ) Battery charger. Nav cars draw more current.

GIAC is proud to be first in the world to offer full OBD2 port flashed software switching. This allows our customers to switch easily, and on-the-fly, between stock, pump gas performance, race gas performance, or "valet" programming modes.
